Here's a quote from Centennial Airport on how this will affect our area. Basically, no impact to noise either way, but it does sound like they are requiring the pilots to communicate with ATC.

"The primary objective of this change is to eliminate the gap that previously existed between Centennial’s and Buckley’s airspace. As a result, pilots transiting this area will now be required to communicate with air traffic control. Additionally, this expanded airspace ensures that all Final Approach fixes for instrument approaches will fall within our airspace, allowing FAA Air Traffic Control to exercise greater authority over instrument traffic. While the shape of the airspace is now slightly altered, the overall circular structure remains intact, and there is no proposed change to how pattern traffic is handled. The main operational effect is that aircraft will now need to communicate with Air Traffic Control over a wider area."
