Issue Overview

COS Municipal Airport is unique in the fact that it services international airlines, such as Southwest, Delta, American and more, as well as military operations, and also GA flight school trainings. It is the smaller of the 2 major airports in Colorado, the other being Denver International.  There are 2 parallel runways, as well as a crosswind runway. The west runway is used primarily for GA activity.  The master plan says GA activity will remain “consistent” in the years to come, while international flights may increase.
