Centennial Airport, (APA) is initiating a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) funded noise study. The objective of this noise study, known as a 14 CFR (Code of Federal of Regulation) Part 150 Study, is to update the existing Noise Exposure Maps (NEMs) based on current and forecasted future conditions and to find reasonable solutions to reduce the number of people affected by aircraft noise, as defined by the FAA.

Public participation is crucial to the success of the Part 150 study process. Those who live and work in close proximity to the airport have the opportunity to shape and influence the outcome of the study process.

The meeting is to inform interested parties about the purpose of the Study, outline the general Study process and request comments. The goal of the Study is to work with surrounding communities and stakeholders to reduce the number of people affected by aircraft noise.
